FAQ

It’s difficult to watch loved ones struggle. Moreso, it’s difficult to watch them struggle alone. Through QDM, relatives and friends are able to care for the elderly, chronically ill, or disabled person in their lives and receive compensation. As opposed to hiring caregivers from outside the home, QDM makes it possible for clients to choose their caregiver directly, allowing them comfort with someone they know and trust.

At QDM, we’re always there for our clients and caregivers. In business since 2017, we will always diligently answer questions and address any concerns you have about the service, supporting you every step of the way.

Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) Home Care is a New York State Medicaid-funded program that allows family members and close friends to provide long-term care for a loved one. Clients may hire a caregiver of their choice, and Medicaid will pay for them.

Client grooming and dressing, laundry, housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, medication management, and appointment scheduling are tasks typically performed by the caregiver.

We proudly serve all of Long Island, Westchester County, and the five boroughs.

Children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or even a close friend may become caregivers if they are over the age of 18 and eligible to work in the US. Spouses and designated representatives, however, cannot.

No licensing or training are required to become a caregiver.

Send us a message here and we’ll guide you through the process.

Depending on the caregiver’s time commitment and location, pay rates may vary. For more information, contact us at [email protected] or give us a call (917) 287- 5217
